Headshots in Mount Vernon
The studio is just over the Pelham line.
My studio is at Common Thyme, 1 Wolfs Lane in Pelham, across from the train station. From Mount Vernon it's a short drive, or one stop from Mount Vernon East on the New Haven Line.
Most people walk in a little nervous about having their picture taken. That's normal, and it passes. We talk, we shoot, and we look at the pictures together on the screen as we go, so you're part of the process instead of waiting to see what you got. By the end you've seen the frames, and you know which ones work.
I came to headshots from documentary photography, where nobody poses and the job is to wait for the moment someone looks like themselves. I bring the same patience to a headshot session.

Pricing. The Essential Headshot is $350 for a one-hour session with three retouched images. The Signature Headshot is $550 for up to 90 minutes with eight retouched images and black-and-white versions. Additional retouched images are $75 each. On-location sessions in Mount Vernon add $150.
